Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled the latest handbag addition to CHANEL’s stable, called the Girl handbag.
This new style is featured in the French fashion house’s latest Spring Summer 2015 campaign with Vanessa Paradis. Also in the same campaign are Kristen Stewart with the 11.12 handbag, and Alice Dellal with the Boy handbag.
“I am a fan of Vanessa. I instantly fell in love with the personality of this little woman who’d started so young and was such a big hit,” says Lagerfeld. “From her very first appearance she had a character quite unlike anybody else. ”
“She has a unique face, the look of a girl and she’s even more beautiful today than ten years ago.”
Vanessa Paradis’ first campaign for CHANEL was for the fragrance Coco in 1991, and has since established herself as one of the most famous faces for the brand.
“My relationship with Karl Lagerfeld is artistic, intense and tender, which makes me so happy every time we get together,” explains Paradis.
