Cameron Diaz Wants You On The Cover Of Her New Book

In the brave new post to promote the eagerly anticipated follow-up to the Body Book, the 43-year-old implores other women to send her snaps of themselves without make-up.

Her favourite 50 will appear on the cover of The Longevity Book due for release in April, 2016. All those chosen will also receive a free signed copy – and bragging rights for life!

“This book is for you and about you and that’s why we’d like to see you on the cover,” says Cameron.

Much like the cover of the Body Book, under the jacket, where we featured women of all different shapes, sizes, builds and ethnicities.”

Cameron says she’d like women to be represented in her new release so they can show where they are in the process of ageing.

Cameron says to have fun with that selfie submission for her new book.

“We’d like to see more of that beautiful face of yours than the body this time,” she adds.

“And if you want to snap one with yourself and your mum and your daughter together, or any multiple generations or expressions of your journey with ageing, we’d love to see those, too!

“So be yourself with it, be brave with it, have fun with it, and we can’t wait to see.”

For more details, anyone interested should download and print a picture release found in Cameron’s official blog for The Longevity Book. The high-resolution photos should be emailed to ourbodybook@gmail.com and submissions close on November 20, 2015.

Cameron’s last foray into this field, The Body Book, was number one on the New York Times bestseller list.

The book demystified and debunked the hype around food and expounds the benefits of vitamins and minerals.

Cameron also explained the importance of staying active, and the significance of muscle and bone strength.

She says her follow-up is centred around the “mental, physical and emotional journey of ageng”.

Cameron is not the first celebrity north of 40 to embrace her natural beauty in public – Christie Brinkley, Tyra Banks, Gwyneth Paltrow and Christina Applegate are just a handful of high-profile advocates.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Tyra Banks are also fans of the natural look.

But few do the sans-make-up look better than the Annie actress who is positively blooming since she married Benji Madden nearly a year ago.
