The annual event took place in Los Angeles and was hosted by singing sensation Jennifer Lopez this year.

Winners are determined by a public poll, rather than from votes by members of the Recording Academy (like the Grammy’s).

Turns out that our favourite stars went for low-key, natural-looking makeup this year at the American Music Awards.
