Revlon Is Re-Writing the Supermodel Playbook For 2026

Long before “clean girl” algorithm-fed trends, Revlon was the brand that decided what beauty looked like for entire generations. Founded in 1932, it built its name on a genuine industry first – opaque, colour-matched nail enamel – and never really slowed down from there. Then, by 1991, it had done it again with ColorStay, the original non-transfer lipstick that redefined what “long-wearing” was allowed to mean.

But it’s the faces behind the brand that cemented Revlon as cultural shorthand for glamour. “The Most Unforgettable Women in the World Wear Revlon” wasn’t just a tagline – through the ’80s and ’90s, it was practically a coronation. Cindy Crawford signed a multimillion-dollar contract with the brand in 1989, joining the likes of Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Iman as the faces of a campaign that, alongside Richard Avedon’s lens, helped invent the modern supermodel era and turned drugstore beauty into something aspirational, editorial, unmistakably iconic.

That era had its own beauty code: glossy lips, sculpted cheekbones, luminous skin and enough bronzer to suggest you’d just stepped off a private jet. Decades later, those references have returned – filtered through the softer, more effortless beauty language of 2026.

That lineage is quietly present in the brand’s newest drop. This season, Revlon is leaning into warm, bronzed, sun-kissed skin – the kind of glow that looks less “done” and more “just got back from somewhere warm.” It’s a look that sits somewhere between ’90s glamour and today’s obsession with barely-there makeup, where skin still looks like skin and contour is meant to look believable. The four-piece edit spans eyes, cheeks and contour, and it’s a reminder that the brand which taught a generation to want “unforgettable” still knows exactly what a moment calls for.

The Bronzed Lineup

Highlights of the new Revlon Bronzed Makeup range include:

Sculpt Stick, $31

A creamy, glide-on contour stick designed to soften cheekbones, define the jawline and add warmth to the nose, leaving behind a bronzed tint rather than a flat, grey shadow. Available in two shades.

Illuminance Eyeshadow Palette, $32

Six richly pigmented shades per palette, spanning subtle daytime wear through to full-on evening intensity. Available in two colourways.

Highlight Stick, $31

The glow-getting counterpart to the Sculpt Stick, a sheer, buildable highlighting stick designed to catch the light at the cheekbones, brow bone and cupid’s bow, for radiance that reads natural rather than obviously shimmery.

Glimmer Eyeshadow Stick, $28

A retractable, multitasking stick designed to go anywhere colour is welcome: eyelids, cheekbones, brow bone. Available in eight shades.

Reading the Room, As Ever

Cindy Crawford wasn’t selling a lipstick shade, not really. She was selling proximity – a version of glamour that suddenly felt within reach, at Chemist Warehouse prices, for anyone willing to pick it up.

The bronzed, stick-format moment on shelves now follows the same logic, recalibrated for a different era’s idea of aspiration: The 2026 take celebrates “no-makeup makeup,” while Revlon built its original ’80s campaign on the same belief – that everyone should be able to access the look they want, without a department store counter standing in the way.
