A new winter wardrobe doesn’t mean you that have to keep your pins or bare body hidden. Check out our round-up of the best hair removal options that you can do even in the shower.

Best for face

Skin can dry out and flake in the colder months, particularly due to changed weather conditions and wind chafing. Get rid of unwanted facial hair on cheeks and above the lip with a removal cream formulated for sensitive skin types – just apply it before stepping into the shower, and wash it off with warm water almost immediately. Try Nair Sensitive Precision Hair Removal Cream for Face, $6.29

Best for legs

Remington’s new epilator is a great solution for smoother limbs. Not only can it be used normally on dry skin, but it can also be taken into the shower and used on moist legs. It also comes with 4 attachments for a full body experience – shaver head with trimmers, epilator head, rotating exfoliator head (great for stubborn areas like elbows and knees) and a callus remover for feet. Try Remington Smooth & Silky Ultimate Cordless Wet and Dry Epilator, $179.95

For something less invasive, Inhibitif’s Body Serum might work for you. It helps to gradually thin out unwanted hair after shaving or waxing, and all you need to do is spray it over the desired area twice a day (rub it in if you need to) and you’ll notice an incredible difference just two weeks in. Try Inhibitif Advanced Hair Inhibiting Body Serum, $29.99

Best for underarms

Don’t be caught out when you need to throw on a fancy sleeveless dress for a function. Veet’s cream works to gently remove hair and results last twice as long as regular shaving. The formula’s also infused with grapeseed oil to nourish the skin, leaving it smooth and incredibly soft. Try Veet Natural Inspirations Cream, $9.49

Best for bikini area

For this delicate area, you’ll need a product that’s much more precise than a clunky shaver. This removal cream comes with an angled applicator so it’s easy to control and much less messy than trying to manoeuvre anything large – oh the horror when your hand slips! Try Bliss Fuzz Off Bikini, $39.95 (Available May)
