The countdown has begun for one of the most anticipated events in the fashion calendar – Australian Fashion Week 2024! Hosted by IMG and presented by Pandora, this year’s event promises to be a spectacular showcase of creativity, innovation and style. That will dazzle audiences both in person at Carriageworks in Sydney and online at australianfashionweek.com from May 13th to 17th.
Natalie Xenita, Vice President-Managing Director of IMG Fashion Events and Properties, Asia-Pacific, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We’re proud to celebrate designers and fashion industry leaders during the most anticipated fashion event in the Asia-Pacific.”
And, with a lineup boasting both an impressive array of established and emerging designers, Australian Fashion Week 2024 is poised to set the trends for the season ahead.
Renowned designers will include names such as Carla Zampatti, Karla Špetić, PE Nation, Michael Lo Sordo, Romance Was Born, Viktoria & Woods and Albus Lumen – founded by Marina Afonina (who will be opening this year’s event). While exciting newcomers like Amy Lawrence, Emily Watson, House of Campbell and Potirakis, will take to the runway for “Next Gen presented by DHL,” in a showcase of emerging talent in the industry.

premier fashion event. We want fashion to be a bigger part of our state’s cultural story. Australian
Fashion Week provides our best designers with a platform to connect with global audiences, telling
uniquely Australian and First Nations stories to the world.
Style aside, Australian Fashion Week 2024 promises to be more than just a series of runway shows. Offering instead, a melting pot of creativity, ideas and conversation. The event’s programming includes thought-provoking panel discussions. And will cover topics ranging from the rise of Western Sydney culture to sustainability in fashion. With industry insiders and thought leaders coming together to explore the most pressing issues facing the fashion world today.
In addition to the runway shows and panel discussions, Australian Fashion Week will also feature special events. Such as the Sustainability Symposium, presented by the City of Sydney and Women With Drive, presented by Porsche. These initiatives will underscore the event’s commitment to driving positive change within the fashion industry and promoting diversity and inclusivity.
