Ronan and Storm Keating have shared news of an extra-special early Christmas present with their fans – they’re about to become parents!
The duo, who have been together for six years, said they found out about the new addition to the family on a day that’s also proving to be special celebration.

“On the 17th August in 2010, my husband and I became friends. On the same day five years later we became husband and wife,” said Storm, 35, in a written statement.
“We’re now very excited to announce that a year later (and again to the exact date) we became parents-to-be!! And so THAT’S why I passed on the mulled wine.
“Words cannot describe how overwhelmed with happiness we are. We feel so blessed to be adding another little Keating to the family and this news is like all of our Christmas wishes coming true.
“This Christmas we’ll just be asking Santa to keep our baby safe and to spread some extra happiness and joy to you and all your families also.”
First-time mum Storm added on her blog: “PS: I already have so much blog content to share to other mothers and mothers-to-be…
“Hilarious stories, the reality of pregnancy and navigating through the endless range of nasty products to avoid when you have a little bub in your tummy etc. So much to share!!”
Storm also shared a teasing Instagram post, in which she posted a snap with Ronan, 39, and his kids; Jack, 17, Missy, 15, and Ali, 10 from his first marriage to Yvonne Connolly.

In the image the group look extremely happy as they gather in a Christmas market with Ronan sipping mulled wine, while mum-to-be Storm made do with hot chocolate.
In August, the couple revealed to Hello! magazine they were trying for a baby.
“Please God that it works out for us. Ronan is a great dad. He is amazing,” Storm enthused.
The TV producer started dating Ronan in late 2012 after being friends for two years as colleagues on the X Factor Australia.
They got together following the breakdown of Ronan’s 14 year marriage to Yvonne in late 2011.
