NZ Trumps Australia For Showing Prince Harry A Good Time

Sure there was a cheeky Prince Harry royal pash at the Sydney Opera House and a seafood dinner in Cronulla, but C’mon Australia! The world’s most eligible Prince has just been shown a downright fun, fun, fun time by our neighbours from the ‘land of the long white cloud’. Yes, New Zealand – you’ve trumped us!!

He’s shucked oysters, performed the Haka at Linton Military Camp near Palmerston North, played touch rugby, had some personal guidance on giving the traditional Maori greeting – the hongi – with a beautiful Autearoa native, handed out delicious cupcakes to adoring fans, had a ‘lock-in’ at a pub trivia night with friends and visited an addiction treatment centre. Yes, from Christchurch to Wanaka, Auckland and beyond – Prince Harry has been shown a damn fine time in New Zealand.

While he’s been having fun with our neighbours, Prince Harry has also managed to make headlines back home in the UK with a very frank interview and the result of which has him dubbed the ‘next Bridget Jones’ by the UK tabloids. He told Mills;

“There come times when you think now is the time to settle down or now is not. But I don’t think you can force these things. You know, it will happen when it’s going to happen. Of course, I would love to have kids right now, but there’s a process … that one has to go through.”

Sorry women of Australia! Harry might be on the lookout for a new love, but he’s probably more likely to find Mrs Windsor in New Zealand given the good times our neighbours are showing him!!

What did you think of Australia’s itinerary for Prince Harry compared to the fun he’s getting up to in New Zealand? What would you have suggested Australia show him instead? Tell us below…
