Sia took out a raft of the coveted ice-picked shaped awards winning Album of the Year as well as Best Female Artist and Best Pop Release. Chet Faker took home Best Independent Release and Best Male Artist while Aussie boy band 5 Seconds of Summer took Song of the Year and the UK’s One Direction of course won Best International Artist.
Music legend Molly Meldrum was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in a moving tribute for his work as one of Australia’s most influential and impactful music journalists, including his trailblazing role as the star of the iconic Aussie music show, Countdown.
