Luxury beauty fans, mark your calendars. Hourglass Cosmetics, the cruelty-free, high-performance brand renowned for redefining modern luxury, is officially expanding into Australia and New Zealand. From February 17, 2026, shoppers in the region can experience Hourglass for the first time through its direct-to-consumer platform, with Sephora stores across ANZ following shortly after on February 26. And to celebrate, Sydney is about to host an event that promises to be more than just a launch … it’s a full-on immersive beauty experience.

If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into a world where innovation, artistry, and indulgence collide, the Hourglass pop-up from February 26 to March 1 at the heart of Sydney will deliver exactly that. Visitors can expect personalised shade-matching, masterclasses led by professional artists, exclusive product drops, and first access to Hourglass innovations that have already won hearts – and awards – around the world. Among the star products are the Illusion Luminous Glow Foundation SPF 30, Vanish Airbrush Concealer, Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm, and the Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara, all designed to elevate your daily beauty ritual and create a radiant, lit-from-within glow.

But the real showstopper? Hourglass is bringing the Ambient Lighting Edit: Charms experience to Sydney for the very first time. Previously exclusive to New York City and London, Charms allows clients to design a personalised palette adorned with collectible, fine-jewelry-inspired charms. It’s the ultimate fusion of beauty and personal expression – one that transforms an everyday makeup routine into a couture experience. During launch week, Sydney will become only the third city globally to offer this extraordinary experience. If you’re an Hourglass fan – or just curious about the hype – this is your rare opportunity to explore it in person before anyone else.

Beyond the glimmering palettes and cutting-edge formulas, the launch underscores Hourglass’ commitment to cruelty-free, vegan luxury. The brand continues to break boundaries with innovations like Red 0, the world’s first vegan alternative to carmine, and products designed to enhance every skin tone with comfort, performance, and a signature glow. Whether it’s the Airbrush Concealer, which sells every nine seconds globally, or the Illusion Luminous Glow Foundation SPF 30, Hourglass fuses artistry with results.

The brand’s arrival in ANZ also reflects a larger global trajectory. “Hourglass continues to redefine luxury through innovation, performance, and a strong relationship with our global community,” says Carisa Janes, Founder and Chief Creative Officer. The DTC platform allows shoppers to enjoy exclusive drops, early access to new products, fast-tracked delivery, and immersive digital content that communicates Hourglass’ artistry and vision – transforming online shopping into a personalised, luxury experience.

Hourglass’ collaboration with Sephora ensures that its high-performance products are also easily accessible offline. Priya Venkatesh, Global Chief Merchandising Officer at Sephora, notes that the partnership will bring Hourglass’ iconic concealers, palettes, and future innovations to Australian clients, allowing them to interact with the products firsthand in-store.

To elevate the experience further, Hourglass has teamed up with visionary fashion designer Christopher Esber as the official makeup partner for his Spring/Summer 2026 Paris Fashion Week show. The collaboration highlights Hourglass’ artistry-driven approach, featuring luminous sculptural looks using Vanish Airbrush Concealer, Veil Hydrating Skin Tint, Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm, and curated eyeshadow shades. During the Sydney pop-up, guests can also explore a curated selection of Christopher Esber accessories, merging modern luxury fashion with Hourglass’ design-led aesthetic for a truly one-of-a-kind beauty-meets-fashion experience.

For those constantly on the move, Hourglass has partnered with American Express to bring a travel-focused collection to Centurion Lounges worldwide, including Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport. Guests can receive the Complexion Capsule as a gift, offering an indulgent introduction to Hourglass essentials while on the go.

Whether you’re a beauty obsessive or simply curious about what makes Hourglass a cult favourite globally, the Sydney pop-up promises an unmissable experience. From personalised palettes to immersive masterclasses and the exclusive Charms activation, it’s more than a launch—it’s a celebration of artistry, innovation, and self-expression.

Hourglass will be available online at hourglasscosmetics.com.au from February 17 and in Sephora stores from February 26. To guarantee your spot at the pop-up and be among the first to explore Charms, sign up for the waitlist now. Don’t miss your chance to witness why Hourglass continues to set the standard for luxury, cruelty-free cosmetics worldwide.
