In an Instagram post, the blonde beauty urged Aussies to clean up our beaches by taking three pieces of rubbish with them each time the visit the ocean.

Plastic waste is a huge environmental issue that we can only tackle if we work together. Which is why I’m proud to partner with @avedaaustralia whose mission is to care for the world we live in. Jesinta Franklin, along with other talent of note joined Aveda at Coogee Beach to help Aveda and their new charity partner Take 3 for the Sea, to assist in removing 1.5 million pieces of rubbish in Australia.
As a mum and proud Aussie, Jesinta is passionate about leaving the world a better place for her young children and supporting brands that champion sustainability and an environmental ethos.

Aveda is a plant-powered hair care brand with a mission of care and environmental leadership. In January, it announced a new partnership with Take 3 for the Sea, with a goal to stop plastic pollution to protect our environment
By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish and with an estimated 8 million tonnes of plastic entering the ocean every year, raising awareness and forming this partnership is more important than ever.
From March 2021, AVEDA Teams, salons and guests will raise awareness to fundraise $100,000 during the STOP Ocean Plastic Pollution Fundraiser and help Take 3 work with education, social and community groups nationwide to remove 1.5 million pieces of rubbish from our environment.
