To celebrate the hit reality show’s 10-year anniversary, Lauren Conrad is set to star in a one-off special called The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now.
In the MTV programme, which will air in August, Lauren will spill the beans on what was really going on behind-the-scenes of the US reality show.
Looking as fresh-faced now as she did when the “scripted reality” show premiered back in 2006 as a follow-up to Laguna Beach, LC explains they’ll be catch up with where everyone is now, and reveal some brand new insights into what really went down on set.
In the just-release trailer, Lauren reveals: “So often we would say, ‘If you knew the real story you would understand’. And what I’d like to do, is tell that story.”
She adds: “Take a look at what things are like now. Then we’re going to take a look back at the show and reveal things that we haven’t talked about before.”
Natasha Bedingfield’s hit song ‘Unwritten’, which was the title music for The Hills, plays over the top of the trailer and MTV promises we will “fall in love with The Hills all over again”.
We’re pretty sure we will!
Whispers of a special anniversary show were confirmed in May when Lauren revealed that she had filmed The Hills: That Was Then: This Is Now with MTV.
Speaking at the time, she said: “I am so excited to be returning home to MTV to commemorate the 10th anniversary of The Hills.
“Viewers watched me grow up and experience milestones on Laguna Beach and The Hills – and now they will get a firsthand look at my life today. I can’t wait for you to see the special!”
