A new trend in gifting is here and is called nano gifting – the act of sending an instant gift as a token of your thoughts. A recent survey of 1000 Aussies found that, while 89% do purchase spontaneous gifts for friends and loved ones, there is a disconnect between the types of gifts we give, to the types of gift we prefer to receive.
Most people think a gift given as a gesture requires a bottle of alcohol, flowers or chocolate, but in fact, the research shows that cash and vouchers are valued by 50% of Australians beating out that bottle of red (9%), bunch of blooms (9%) and sweet treat (14%)
