The Rugby Xplorer Alexa skill (voice app) will give Wallabies fans access to premium features including a LIVE audio call of every match during the tournament. We are also excited to be able to bring fans behind the scenes into the Wallabies camp something we have never done before.” said Rugby Australia Head of Digital and Marketing Adam Freier

To make things even better, users can also tune into RUGBY.com.au‘s weekly show Rugby Nation.

It’s fantastic to see Rugby Australia creating another way for Wallaby fans to connect with their favourite team (…)” added Alexa Skills, Country Manager, Kate Burleigh.

After the World Cup, the Skill will be further expanded to cover the likes of the Vodafone Super Rugby and Buildcorp Super W competitions, as well as community Rugby competitions.

As for the World Cup itself, it’s a so far so good situation for the Wallabies after they grabbed a 39-21 win over Fiji, heading into their next matchup against a tough Wales side who also won their first match of the tournament.

Don’t miss out on that game or any of the games to follow with Alexa. Just say “Alexa, launch Rugby Xplorer” or to live-stream the match, say “Alexa, stream the Wallabies game”. Easy as that.
