The 29-year-old headliner at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 16 (Australia time) solidified her love with a Ziggy Stardust tattoo on the side of her body.
Inked in LA by legendary artist Mark Mahoney, the memorial of the Aladdin Sane album cover was caught on tape by onlookers, and the video clip soon went viral on social media.

Gaga announced her latest body art on Snapchat noting that “this was the image that changed my life,” and rightly proclaiming “Hail Mary full of grace Saint Bowie.”
Gaga will be playing tribute to the Rock God with a special dedicated Grammy performance in his honour. 
Her love for the British singer, who lost his lengthy battle with cancer on January 10 at 69 , is well documented.
“When I fell in love with David Bowie, when I was living on the Lower East Side, I always felt that his glamour was something he was using to express a message to people that was very healing for their souls,” she told The Hollywood Reporter shortly before his death. 
She continued, “He is a true, true artist and I don’t know if I ever went, ‘Oh, I’m going to be that way like this,’ or if I arrived upon it slowly, realising it was my calling and that’s what drew me to him.”
Although most eyes will be on Gaga at the Grammys, there’s also a lot of interest in the handful of Australian artists nominated. 
Indie rock goddess Courtney Barnett leads the hopefuls and is an early front-runner to pick up the Best New Artist Award.
The 28-year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist has played the world’s biggest festivals in the past 18 months since her wry and witty grunge rock tunes, including Pedestrian At Best and Depreston charmed alternative music lovers.
