Unlucky-in-love Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence is dating Black Swan film director Darren Aronofsky, according to a new report.
Darren, 47, used to be engaged to English actress Rachel Weisz, and the pair share custody of son Henry, 10, in New York.
The Sun says Jennifer, who has been single since splitting from Coldplay singer Chris Martin, has been spending every chance she gets with Darren.
They worked together earlier this year on an as yet untitled movie co-starring Javier Bardem and Michelle Pfeiffer, and insiders say love has quickly blossomed.
“Jennifer and Darren have tried to keep things low-key and under wraps but they are really into each other,” says the source.
“Recently Jennifer was working on a gruelling project and she relied on Darren for support and they were in constant contact.
“It seemed to show they were the real deal.”
Despite the pair being careful to avoid being snapped together, an unsuspecting fan — who didn’t even recognise the Oscar-nominated director at the time — managed to picture the couple lunching together in New York in early September.
Jennifer also never went public with on/off rocker boyfriend Chris, who is now with Annabelle Wallis.
