With views of clear blue waters, sandy beaches, cultural experiences and water activities it’s no wonder Fiji is featuring on many Aussie’s must-do lists. The island nation is in the top ten most booked international destinations this year, according to Wotif.com.

Whether you’re planning your first trip or your twenty-first, Fiji offers something for everyone. Here are our top picks to get your Fijian groove on.

Robinson Crusoe’s Night Tour
If you’re looking for an amazing cultural experience then one of the Robinson Crusoe Island tours are for you. The night tour kicks off with a sunset cruise to the island and includes a Kava ceremony, a dinner feast including local dishes, and a wicked fire show on the beach. This is great for everyone from backpackers to families. Kids under five go free.

Natadola Beach
Situated on Viti Levu, Fiji’s main island, this is heralded as the island’s best beach and one look at the photos it’s easy to see why. It can be busy with tourists but the all-tide swimming and surf break make it worth risking the crowds. If you’re keen to give surfing a go, Adrenalin Fiji offer lessons on Natadola Beach – what could be a better holiday brag story than ‘I learnt to surf on the best beach in Fiji!’ If you’re keen to be in the middle of the action, Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa, is situated right on the beach and offers five restaurants and bars, plunge pools and a day spa.

Cloud 9 is located off the coast near Nadi and offers incredible day parties which run from 10am until sunset. Don’t worry there are day beds available if all the dancing gets a little too much.

Jetski Safari
If you’re not the sit back and relax type then a Jetski Safari will be up your alley. You get to drive your own Jetski for a four-hour tour around the beautiful Bega Island. The tours are guided so you won’t get lost and you’ll be sure to see all the best spots. They even include lunch on the island.

Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denerau
Spread across 10 acres, the resort offers a lagoon swimming pool, white water tunnel water slide, day spa, swim up bar and direct beach access. Wonderful location, outstanding facilities and home away from home are just a few of the words used to describe the resort by reviewers.
