The first Supermoon of 2025 is about to blaze across our skies. And it is bringing a fiery wave of passion, drama and bold new beginnings.

On Tuesday, October 7th the Hunter’s Moon in Aries will rise bigger and brighter than usual, kicking off a rare trio of back-to-back Supermoons to close out 2025.

This is not just a spectacular sky show, but a cosmic shake-up which could stir emotions, spark romance, and even ignite a few explosive arguments.

The Hunter’s Moon will pack a punch because of its placement in Aries, the zodiac’s bold warrior sign. While Aries encourages courage, confidence and self-expression, it also has a fiery, impulsive streak.

This Supermoon in Aries shakes up the harmony of Libra season with its strong and uncompromising force.

It is a time to be bold, to fight for what you want, and to pursue your true passions, whether in love, work or personal growth.

But be cautious, as Aries is not known for patience.

Impulsive reactions could do more harm than good. My hot tip is simple: get enough rest and think before you speak. Otherwise, heated words could kindle regrets.

Full moons are traditionally linked to heightened emotions, but this one has extra bite.

Aries energy may push people to dive head-first into romance, and say things they do not mean, or finally confront issues they have been avoiding.

For couples, that could mean fireworks in both the bedroom and the argument stakes.

This is a time when breakthroughs or breakdowns are possible. Relationships could deepen with passion or unravel under pressure. Either way, transformation is on the cards.

Supermoons occur when the Moon is closest to Earth, within about 360,000 kilometres, making it appear larger and more luminous in the sky. Astrologically, this magnifies its emotional pull.

Because October’s Hunter’s Moon is the first of three consecutive Supermoons, its energy is especially potent.

This one sets the tone. It is the cosmic green light to step into courage and change.

The Hunter’s Moon name comes from the northern hemisphere tradition of hunters using its bright light to prepare for winter, another symbol of bold action and readiness.

The drama does not stop with the Supermoon. Around the same time, Mercury squares Pluto, stirring deep conversations and exposing secrets.

Think transformative truths, but also potential confrontations. There is a risk of arguments, but also incredible opportunities for growth.

Another cosmic clash, Mercury with Jupiter, could make people louder, more outspoken or overly confident. Expect some people to shoot their mouths off.

Everyone will feel this Supermoon, but fire signs Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are likely to feel it most. As a cardinal sign, Aries also stirs things up for Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

This is a powerful reset. If you channel Aries’ boldness with balance, you could see exciting new opportunities in love, career and personal purpose.

The Hunter’s Supermoon officially peaks at 2:48pm AEST on Tuesday, October 7th. But the real magic happens after dark when it rises above the horizon.

Whether you are hoping for romance, bracing for drama, or just want to witness one of the year’s brightest moons, mark your calendar.

The fiery first Supermoon of 2025 is here to light up both the sky and your emotions.
