Girl Crush: The Rise Of UK Model and Actress Cara Delevingne
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

She’s strutted down countless high-fashion catwalks, starred in the biggest campaigns, and has even teamed up with singer Pharrell Williams in the smash hit ‘CC The World’.

And that’s not even close to scraping the surface. Luxury label Chanel has had Cara appear in the short film ‘Reincarnation’, and she’s made countless appearances in TV series and movies such as ‘Playhouse Presents’, ‘Anna Karenina’ and ‘The Face of an Angel’.

Her latest move is a lead role in comedy-drama ‘Paper Towns’ which has just hit cinemas, where she plays Margo, a mischievous teen who goes missing one day and leaves clues for friend Quentin to find her. The result is a suspenseful yet still playful film that elevates the Londoner to the next level – one where people can recognise her for other characteristics other than being ridiculously good looking. She really isn’t just a pretty face.

Recently, Cara, who first began modelling at age ten in an editorial shot by Bruce Weber for Vogue Italia, came down under for the premiere of the film, dressed to the nines in Dion Lee.

“You know, I feel like I’m in a very lucky position. I’m not going to quit, I’m just not modelling as much, because I’m working and performing,’ she told Daily Mail Australia. “I don’t like hanging up hats, I like keeping them on.”

We can’t wait to see Cara’s next move.
