Welcome to your VIP pass to Kate’s vanity case. We’ve found the golden tickets to her glowing skin, super shiny and bouncy hair, elegant nails and marry-me make-up. You are most welcome.

Radiant royal skin…

Kate thanks Swiss beauty brand Karin Herzog for her glow and in particular, their cult product, the Oxygen Face Cream, $60. But like all good girls who mix up their regime with the best of the brands, Kate’s also a fan of Lancôme, and was spotted stocking up on their luxe Hypnôse mascara, $52, and Hydra Zen Moisturising Cream, $80, just before her wedding. Kate and Pippa also skipped the months-long waiting list for Lancôme Visionnaire [LR 2412] Correcting Polishing Cream, $125, which thousands of women were awaiting eagerly to hit the shops. The famous sisters were ‘gifted’ the in-demand beauty cream, which corrects skin imperfections and is said to alleviate the need for Botox. Not that the pretty young things need it….

Eyes that pop (and an instant beauty-porter to remove those bags)…

It’s in every supermodel’s handbag, makes the Top 10 Cult Beauty Buys list in just about every glossy mag and is a hero to those who suffer underage bags, so it’s no surprise that Her Royal Highness uses the Yves Saint Laurent Touch Éclat, $57, concealer pen too. The beauty wand formulation captures the light on the skin, thus brightening skin where required – under eyes, cheek bones, and just below the brow bone to make eyes pop. Best things since sliced bread and cucumber sandwiches…

Cheeks and kissable lips …

It was US make-up maestro Bobbi Brown who got the gig to create the looks for Kate’s wedding day. On her colour chart was Eye Shadow in Ivory, $40, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink, $35, Pale Pink Blush and for totally kissable lips, Lip Color in Sandwash Pink, $44, and Crystal Clear Lip Gloss, $40.

Super shiny, thick and healthy hair…

There is a lot Kate can do – she’s totes on-trend when it comes to balancing fashionably chic threads with a royal spin the Queen would approve of. She’s also been known to whip that pretty mane up into a super stylish ponytail for events in five seconds flat. But here’s a little secret. Her hairstylist has travelled with her and the royal entourage during their Down Under & New Zealand tour. It was a major coup for Shu Uemura when in 2013 Kate’s hairdresser revealed that she uses Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue, 150ml, $67. And a major coup for women seeking the same shiny locks…

Nails suitable to display a sapphire on…

No, Kate isn’t donning the Kylie Kardashian Grey talon trend. She’s way too sophisticated for that. Kate’s more classy and classic style is all about the ‘nude’ shades on the colour wheel. For her wedding day, the polish brand and colour of choice was purportedly Essie Nail Colour, $16.95, in Allure mixed with another top secret colour.
