Click Frenzy Helping Local Businesses Get Back On Their Feet

With the world seemingly changing overnight, one of my favourite online shopping events has met the challenge by repositioning its much-loved travel event to support Aussie businesses in need.

Now your shopping dollars can support Aussie businesses, not only affected by the Coronavirus, but also just starting to recover from bushfires.

“It would be ludicrous to proceed with Click Frenzy Travel as though it is business as usual,” says Grant Arnott, Managing Director of Click Frenzy. “…we see an opportunity for us to do something good for the many businesses in dire straits. We’re ditching our traditional format and we’re aiming to give those struggling businesses a boost via Click Frenzy Places in Need.”

Places in Need – Australia allows shoppers to find offers from affected providers. Qualifying small businesses receive complimentary promotion and advertising, utilising Click Frenzy’s broad reach with travellers to give providers a much-needed lift in their region. There are currently 100+ businesses registered and Click Frenzy is inviting more. The Places in Need event will extend for longer than normal to maximise the number of businesses that can get on board and benefit.

“Let’s regrow. No-one needs to travel tomorrow, but this is an opportunity for Australians to look at the many amazing destinations available, with some incredible offers for forward bookings. We truly hope that Australians get behind this initiative and boost businesses in need.”

Over the last weeks, friends and family have been delaying/cancelling their upcoming overseas holidays. Why not spend that travel money in Australia where it will do so much good and still have a fabulous holiday.
