Acclaimed actress Rose Byrne will join forces with fellow Australians actress/director Gracie Otto, actress/writer Krew Boylan, director Shannon Murphy and publicist/producer Jessica Carrera under the banner The Dollhouse Collective, an emerging production company.

The Dollhouse Collective brings together a cross section of talent both in-front and behind the camera who share a wealth of local and international experience.

The five women champion change, and their move continues the charge for a greater representation of females across the industry.  While being longtime friends and associates, at the heart of the collective are five women who are all passionate storytellers.

“The idea has been germinating for a while. We are close friends and we have worked together, so it’s been a natural progression. We realised we are a group of creatives and saw the opportunity to achieve more together than as individuals”, the Collective says.

The Dollhouse Collective has a number of projects in development and their current slate includes “Seriously Red” written by Boylan, produced by Matt Reeder, with Bryne executive producing “Girls in Hotels” helmed by Otto with Carrera producing and the short feature “When All the Water”, helmed by Murphy, screenplay by Marisa Nather.
