If I had to pick just one thing that stood out to me from the Myer’s Autumn Winter show tonight, it would have to be that eyeliner is back – and bigger and badder than ever.

Napoleon Perdis designed the look with a nod to 70’s icons such as Jane Birkin and Cher. The result? A totally wearable look for both day and night, and one that is relatively simple to achieve with the right products.
“There’s a sense of innocence about this look; a full brow and dreamy eyes capture that quality just perfectly. Rich, linear definition is anchored by lots of lash to emphasise the femininity of the eyes,” says Perdis.
While the eyes remained as focus, Napoleon paired back the rest of the face illuminated skin and a neutral tone on lips.

STEP 11: Open the eyes by applying Eye Bright Inner Rim Eyeliner to the waterline. Define by using Angled Chisel Brush 9a to wash China Doll Gel Eyeliner in Yin along the upper and lower lash lines, extending at the outer corners of the eye.
STEP 12: For wide-eyed beauty, apply Lashes in Zinnia to the upper lash line and Lashes in Cherry Blossom to the lower lash line.
STEP 13: Apply a second coat of Mesmer-Eyes Mascara to your upper lashes, then carefully coat your bottom lashes, separating and lengthening with each coat.
