The perfect garden ‘do, this divinely romantic style created by Redken Creative Consultant Guido Palau is timeless. “The soft braided up-do with the delicate hair accessories is very old world and romantic,” he explains. “Overall, the style is soft, pretty and classically beautiful.” Guido pinned the braid with gold coins, flowers and other equally ornate hair accessories. “While the hair was not adorned uniformly, the overall Romanesque look was exquisite. It is also flattering on most women, which is wonderful.”

THE LOOK: Bohemian Beauty
Give a Boho twist to your look and avoid wind-swept hair with this ultra-feminine and classic French braid. It’s the perfect style for a barnyard soiree or beach nuptials. Redken’s Creative Consultant Guido says the style is simple, soft and romantic. “I love a simple braid, in that the style is both elegant and wearable for most women,” explains Guido. “For me, a braided look will always be fashionable. The dampness of the braid introduces a beach-like element to the overall style.”

THE LOOK: Dramatically Regal
A modern twist on the traditional tiara, a headband can transform your entire bridal look. Go for a thin lace or silk ribbon for soft and pretty traditional look, broderie anglaise for a bohemian feel or add sequins and sparkle for glam-factor. For the Valentino show, Redken Creative Consultant Guido Palau created a regal look by seamlessly incorporating the decorative headband into the hairstyle, making it seem as if the accessory was a part of the hair. “The look is polished and impeccable, just like the Valentino woman,” he explains. “The austere ponytail and the ornate Valentino headband were intended to create an operatic theme to the finished look.”
