The Intern star and her husband Adam Shulman welcomed Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman into the world on March 24 – and friends say the happy couple is enjoying every minute of their new role.
“He is such a sweet and happy baby,” a source tells E! News.
“He looks like a mixture between Anne and Adam.”
“They have many friends and family coming in and out of their home in L.A. this past two weeks.
“Anne and Adam’s parents have been very helpful with the baby. Anne plans on breastfeeding and wants to experience and feel everything about being a new mother.”
The report also adds that Adam, who married Anne in 2012, “has been such a great husband and really supportive to Anne.”
The new parents have been taking turns taking care of their son during the nights.
As for Anne herself, she is “taking it easy” and the close friend says she plans to resume her yoga regimen in the next few weeks when she feels ready.
Also, she and Adam plan on staying in Los Angeles for the time being and later bring their son to New York for a visit when he is able to travel.
The Les Miserables star, who married Adam after four years of dating, has been open about her desire to become a mother ever since the couple tied the knot.
In 2013, she told Vogue magazine, “Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time, though it’s a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I’ll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can’t wait to meet them.”
But despite her candid desire to be a mum, Anne didn’t confirm her baby news until January 2016 when she took to Instagram and posted this photo, above, of herself posing in a two-piece red bikini on a beach while cupping her hands around a large belly bump.
