We all know that visiting an island is a perfect way to escape the rat race and just relax among the palms. And after so long in isolation, now is the time to start planning your bucket list trips.

Still, not all the islands are the same. Some of them are known for the crystal waters that surround them while others are defined by their mysterious jungles and sharp peaks.

That’s why, deciding on the island you are going to visit can be quite a difficult task.

1. Maldives

There are few people who haven’t heard about this magical place in the South Pacific. This volcanic island is a must see if you’re visiting this part of the world. The tropical beauty of Bora Bora lies in numbers of exotic animals such as turtles, fish, sharks and rays. This is why, if you decide to visit Bora Bora, you shouldn’t forget to pack your diving equipment. Also, if you’re looking for a place with a heart-stopping view, luxurious Four Seasons at Bora Bora is the right place to be.

5. Fiji

If you are looking for a go-to tropical escape close to Australia, Fiji is definitely a place worth visiting. There’s no need to say that all of the 333 tropical islands of Fiji have gorgeous sand beaches and coral reefs. What’s also special about this place is that Fijians love tourists. This means that if you decide to visit this place, you will get a chance to take on activities such as surfing, diving, snorkeling, and fishing. Since, most of the resorts in Fiji are family-based, this is also a great place to go to if you’re going on a family vacation.
