We are here to meet with the effervescent actress and well-known pocket rocket Eva Longoria.
Eva is resplendent in a magenta Bec and Bridge bandage dress, sans shoes and sporting an eye-catching pistachio coloured nail polish by L’Oreal Paris called Riche Le Vernis. She is engaging from the get go.
Who is your beauty icon?
“My beauty icon is Jane Fonda, every time I see her, I am just blown away by her inner soul? You drink up every moment you are in front of her.”
What do you use to take off your stage makeup after shooting?
“I use the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Smoothing Cleansing Makeup Wipes. I like to get all of it off first and then I use a cleanser, a moisturiser, a serum and an eyecream. The whole skincare process takes 3 minutes.”
How do you survive the long haul flights?
“I use the Revitalift Anti-ageing Power Moisturser when I fly. I slap that on and then go to sleep.”
What’s in your makeup bag when you travel?
“I always have a concealer and my mascara. I can’t live without mascara.”
How many coats of mascara do you apply?
“100,” she laughs. “The False Lash Butterfly wings is great for the winged look as it has an A-symmetrical brush so you thicken with one side of the brush at the root and then lengthen. I love a two in one. I do like two or three coats. I am like Tammy Fay Baker with the lashes. You can’t have enough mascara. I do bottom lashes as well with two coats.”
How about your favourite fragrance?
“Mine! My first one, Eva, I really love. Part of the reason I developed it was because I was allergic. I tried to wear fragrance but I sneezed and sneezed. So I developed one for myself and then I thought it would be great to make it for everyone else.”
Who is your Favourite designer?
“Victoria Beckham is my favourite dress designer. Red carpet gown-wise, I really like Angel Sanchez, Elie Saab, Naeem Kahn and Lee Machra.”
What beauty treatments do you get?
“I get facials every week including peels and masks. I really take care of my skin. I go to facialist Leah Eigard in Beverly Hills.”
