Australian stylist and colourist Belinda Jeffrey is the holder of the hottest Little Black Book of celebrity hair. A quick scroll through her phone will reveal that she is on first-name terms with celebs such as Miranda Kerr, Kate Hudson, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Biel, Naomi Watts, Kylie Minogue and Sarah Murdoch – who has trusted her to tend to her golden locks for more than 25 years. Throw in some very impressive industry awards – notably Australian Colourist of the Year, Australian Creative Colourist of the Year and Technician of the Year. Work on film sets such as The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge and Star Wars. And a portfolio of editorial clippings from Harpers BAZAAR, Marie Claire, Vogue and Vanity Fair. And, it should come as no surprise that her Double Bay Salon La Boutique’s 20th birthday bash would be a star-studded celebration.
Except, instead of receiving gifts, it was guests who were spoilt with something special. The announcement that the down-to-earth colour queen known as “The Blonde Whisperer” would be releasing her own hair care range. Called “The One,” the three ranges (The One for Colour, The One for Blondes and the Smooth One) include shampoo, conditioners, masques and finally, a detangling spray tailored for different hair types.
“My focus was on creating formulas that deliver a creamy, glossy finish. With a pleasant scent to overcome the typical chemical aroma associated with hair dyeing,” says Belinda.
“These products have high concentrations, requiring only a small amount for each use, which makes them long-lasting.”
And, it would seem that guests didn’t need much convincing, with media personality Sally Obermeder revealing, “Belinda has been doing my hair for 25 years. I love her. She’s the best.”

The One For Blondes: Shampoo & Conditioner
“The One For Blondes” range includes a toning shampoo and conditioner. Designed to tone and brighten blonde, lightened or grey hair while nourishing and hydrating with ingredients like rice bran, avocado, and argan oils. These products also contain quinoa proteins to protect and maintain hair colour and health. The corresponding conditioner or masque should be used after shampooing.
The One For Colour: Colour Care Masque
The One For Colour range offers a colour care masque that deeply nourishes hair. With shea butter, licorice extracts, buriti fruit and sweet almond oils strengthening and rebuilding hair. And improving manageability and shine. The instructions recommend applying to towel-dried hair and leaving it for five to 15 minutes before rinsing.
The Smooth One
Finally, “The Smooth One” detangler spray utilises sunflower seed oil, argan oil, vegetable and wheat proteins to protect, strengthen, and enhance hair colour, shine, and manageability. It should be sprayed generously on damp hair before combing through.
