Just two days after reports surfaced of her moving items into Liam’s Malibu home, she uploaded this bizarre social media shot of herself wearing a sparkling engagement ring.
Fans are adamant that this is the same rock Liam presented the Wrecking Ball singer in 2012 when she first said ‘I Do’.
The couple lived together in LA for a further 14 months before they split in September 2014, both insisting they remained close friends.
Although there is no official confirmation they are back on – even Liam’s brother Chris Hemsworth says he doesn’t know – all the evidence is pointing in that direction.
A source close to Miley tells People magazine, “Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again. It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months.
“They just wanted to keep their relationship out of the spotlight while they figured things out,” the source continued. “Liam never liked how exposed his life was with Miley.”
Witnesses say they were seen kissing and cuddling at Byron Bay’s Falls Festival over the New Year holiday.
Chris’s wife, Spanish model Elsa Pataky, even shared a pic of Miley, 23, on her social media page while she was partying with the pair in NSW.
Onlookers also report seeing the couple all over each other at a Golden Globes’ after-party at the exclusive West Hollywood club Soho House.
Liam, 26, and Miley appeared to rekindle the sparks as far back as November, 2015.
When Liam revealed he wanted to adopt a rescue dog it was Miley who stepped in to help out, referring him to her favourite organisation, Wylder’s Holistic Pet Centre and Rescue in Los Angeles.
“Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!! You helped find this gigantic, 6-month-old puppy a new home,” the organisation captioned the cute photo. “@liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!”
