The One Million View Chocolate Breakfast We’ll Be Meal Prepping This Week

Enter Alyssa Coady, nutritionist and meal prep guru, who has turned the art of grab-and-go breakfasts into something both delicious and sustainable.

Her latest creation (created in collaboration with Pyrex Australia) is a Chocolate Chia Mousse, which has captured the imagination of foodies everywhere, racking up over 1 million views on Instagram. Designed to be made once and enjoyed throughout the week, this viral breakfast is creamy, chocolatey, and packed with protein, fibre, and healthy fats – the perfect balance to fuel early mornings, workouts, and busy days on the go.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups Greek yoghurt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup cocoa or cacao powder
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • Berries, to serve

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add yoghurt, milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl. Stir well.
  2. Add chia seeds and mix until combined. Let sit for 10 minutes and stir again to ensure there are no clumps.
  3. Portion into 5 meal prep containers. Top with berries and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Enjoy!
