The single mum-of-three was reputedly found unconscious on the set as thousands of fans converged for an open day at the South Yarra apartments.
The 44-year-old real estate agent was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to Melbourne’s Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
“Suzi was suffering from exhaustion after a busy day with The Block open for inspections,” confirmed Nine spokesperson Victoria Buchan.
“She was taken to hospital yesterday, but has since been discharged and is resting.”
After starting the series as early front-runners, Suzi and her renovating partner Yvonne Cosier, 39, have hit a string of budget hurdles and faced a barrage of criticism from judges for their over-the-top style.
Suzi has also repeatedly clashed with fellow contestant Whitney Nolan who at one point she told to “go and have another burger”, a blatant slur about Whitney’s weight.
Now, new reports are emerging that she’s even fallen out with Yvonne, aka Vonni, the more reserved of the pair who always manages to stay calm under pressure.
They first met as bit-part actresses on the short-lived Canadian TV series BeastMaster, which began filming on the Gold Coast in the late 1990s.
But are reputedly not the ‘bosom-buddies’ they are made out to be on the show.
Mother-of-one Vonni, a fitness studio manager, is supposedly now regretting her decision to reunite with the ‘wild child’ and former Penthouse Pet.
While Vonni races home to her Gold Coast partner and daughter, one report claims that Suzi is milking her newfound fame every chance she gets.
In one recent interview, the singer in Gold Coast electro pop band Juce boasted of bedding INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.
She’s also gone on to ‘hook up’ with The Block producer Tim Wise, and paraded her ‘considerable assets’ at the recent Melbourne Cup carnival.
