On a star-studded night for the launch of WHO’s Australia’s Most Intriguing People special for 2015, Sam and Sasha seemed more in love than ever as they posed for dozens of pictures outside Ananas Bar on The Rocks, Sydney.
Unflustered by the many prying eyes, at one point construction manager Sasha, 30, clutches Sam tighter and kisses her tenderly on the forehead before joining this year’s other “brightest stars, headline-makers and heroes” inside.
“I pinch myself every day and think it’s a true blessing that I’ve got the love of my life,” Sam, 26, tells WHO.
“Today I feel strong and I honestly feel like I’m the luckiest person alive.”
The popular Melbourne girl-next-door is also relieved that she found the courage to be vulnerable again after being humiliatingly dumped by Blake Garvey on The Bachelor last year.
“I was very sceptical about doing it [The Bachelorette]. But it’s the best thing I’ve done in my life.”
As for their plans next year, Sam says there’s already a house, holiday and a puppy on the horizon.
Other stars on show at WHO’s glittering event included a radiant Tessa James and Nat Myles, and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis and heavily pregnant partner Michelle Bridges.
Tessa, 24, is now in remission after a six-month battle with Hodgkin lymphoma.
“It was year that put things in perspective for both of us,” the Home and Away beauty tells WHO.
Aside from the support of NRL partner Nate, 30, Tessa credits yoga, meditation, exercise and organic eating for her turnaround.
Workaholic Michelle, 45, says there were times she felt she’d bitten off more than she could chew in 2015.
“But I kept going because my life focus is giving people tools to empower themselves,” says the mastermind of the hugely popular 12 Week Body Transformation.
Other Aussie stars in the Most Intriguing People special on-sale now include Rebel Wilson, Chris Hemsworth, Jesinta Campbell, Margot Robbie and Lara Worthington.
