She may be handing out roses on the new season of The Bachelorette, but Georgia Love’s heart already belongs to another man, says a shock new report.
According to New Idea magazine, the former TV news reporter is in a relationship with the man of her dreams, Tasmanian police detective Nick Grubb, pictured below.
“Georgia has been sending him secret messages the whole way through the show,” a well-placed source tells the magazine.
“One minute she is on a romantic date with one of the contestants and the next she is calling home with heartfelt words to be passed on.”
The report says Georgia tried to break up with Nick when she was offered the role of a lifetime on the hit Ten series.
But after realising that her heart belonged to the handsome cop, New Idea says the couple made a secret pact.
“She promised that what he would see on TV would be an act and that her heart belonged to him,” says the magazine’s source.
But the magazine also goes on to say that Nick hasn’t been coping too well with seeing Georgia get so friendly with the contestants on the show.
The detective is said to be questioning Georgia’s ambition for fame and wondering whether he’s made the right decision in waiting for the reality TV star.
“Nick has been left here reading all of her interviews about her quest for love and has seen numerous photos of her kissing different guys, and it’s all just too much.”
Georgia also tells Daily Mail Australia the reports are “completely false and fabricated”.
“There is absolutely no truth to the claim that I am in a relationship with Nick Grubb as an article published in New Idea infers. It is completely false and fabricated,” the statement reads.
“There is no secret pact nor has there been secret messages. Nick and I went on a few dates early this year and even though a relationship did not develop, we have remained friends.”
