Terms & Conditions

• Entry is open to permanent residents of Australia only and entrants must be over 18 years of age.

• Employees of The Online Jewellery Company (OJ Co Pty Ltd) / The Carousel and their subsidiary agents and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

• Competition opens 9:30am (AEST) 19 September, 2016, until 12am (AEST) 24 October, 2016.

• The winner will be contacted by email or phone.

• If the prize winner cannot be contacted within 6 weeks of them being announced as the winner, then the prize will be forfeited by the original winner and the promoter will choose another winner to award the prize to.

• This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. All entries will be judged on their individual merit. The Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible. OJ Co reserves the right to use the content of winning entries for the purpose of future promotions.

• OJ Co is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion or with problems with transmission of entries over the internet. OJ Co will accept no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries.

• OJ Co/ The Carousel reserve the right to remove any image/text entered if deemed necessary, no correspondence will be entered into in this matter. Entrants are advised not to include any offensive or inappropriate material in their entries, or any material that is not original and owned by the entrant, may be removed and deemed invalid.

• If the prize is unavailable for reasons beyond our control, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification – subject to the relevant state authority approval.

• Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time.

• Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of the Prize to cancel the competition or to vary or cancel the award of the Prize including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter’s opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion): (a) a Prize winner does not satisfy the Competition entry requirements; or (b) the Promoter cannot conduct the Competition or award the Prize for any reason beyond its control. Subject to relevant state authority approval, in the event that the Promoter cancels the Competition or varies or withdraws the Prize it shall not:

• (a) be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation or withdrawal; and (b) be required to conduct the Competition at any other time.

• Entrants enter the Competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize or entering the Competition. • There is one prize and one prize winner. The winner will receive a diamond ring from The Online Jewellery Company with the price as promoted.

• Image shown in promotional material is not true to size. • The competition ring has a total diamond weight of 0.50 carat and is available in a choice of 18 carat yellow gold base with white gold setting or all 18 carat white gold.

• The competition ring will be ‘made to order’ to a specific ring size – up to Size Q. (UK & Australian metric ring sizing). • One time order only of size; any additional resizing due to change of mind may incur a fee.

• There will be a 3 to 4 week delivery time of the prize, calculated from the time of obtaining relevant details from winner. • An independent valuation ‘for insurances purposes only’ will be supplied for each ring.

• A photograph of winner with ring to be provided by winner within 1 week of ring receipt, to be used on OJ Co promotional material. If winner is local to Sydney this can be arranged at OJ Co’s premises. • By entering the competition you agree to The Online Jewellery Company contacting you by email for future marketing purposes.

• Participants grant The Online Jewellery Company (OJ Co Pty Ltd) a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty free, worldwide licence to use, modify, adapt and publish the comment for marketing and purposes associated with this competition. Participants waive any moral rights in the comment, and warrant that they are entitled to grant these in the comment. Participants warrant that OJ Co’s use of this comment does not breach the rights of any third party.
