Since Paul’s December 16 arrival – a week ahead of schedule – the popular Studio 10 host says she can’t get enough of her little Christmas miracle.
“When you’ve almost used up 32gb of space on your phone in the first 48 hours snapping your newborn… #facepalm #parentproblems,” Sarah, 33, writes on Instagram.
In one of the first pictures Sarah and her husband Tom Ward share with fans, Sarah is cradling her son, alongside which she writes: “Hello from the baby love bubble!”
In another their bundle of joy is swaddled in a blue and pink stripped blanket with his tiny hand perched over his face.
She adds: “Huge love and thanks to everyone who has sent well wishes to our little (big!) dude, Pauly.
“We’ve basically spent the last 48 hours staring at him. We’re so in love!”.
In another adorable snap, sleepy Paul is snuggled in his blanket with one eye seemingly propped open as if he’s checking that mum’s still there!
Among the hundreds of notes of support from fans, Weekend Today newsreader Peter Stefanovic was quick to send his congratulations: “What a beauty! Well done gurrrl! Xx”.
The besotted mother announced the arrival of her baby boy via her Facebook page where she gushed: “Bubs is a bruiser, but perfect. We’re in love!”
The post also revealed that the newborn was 4.23kgs and 54cm long at the time of his birth, arriving eight days earlier than Sarah and Tom expected.
Studio 10 also congratulated the pair and shared a sweet video of the baby kicking.
The show tweeted the news on the arrival day, writing: “We’re thrilled to announce Paul William Ward was born 11.30am this morning. Congratulations @SarahHarris!”
