Meet Australia’s Young and Richest Women Of 2017

They’re young, smart and most of all rich! Meet Australia’s young and richest Women under 40 as announced by The Financial Review in their 2017 list.

These Australian women have joined together with men in the list of the most successful entrepreneurs.

The Financial Review recently released their Young Rich List 2017 and featured young women entrepreneurs under 40 who made the list. And with that, here are the female heavy-hitters in the business world.

Cyan Ta’eed, Envato – $216 Million

Australia Rich Woman - Cyan Ta'eed

Together with her husband, Cyan Ta’eed’s wealth is estimated to be $216 million. Together, they manage one of the biggest digital graphic marketplace companies, Envato. Coming in at no. 9 with a business that in in growth.  Notably, in 2015, Cyan Ta’eed was awarded as Telstra’s Australian Business Woman of the Year for Victoria.

 

Melanie Perkins, Canva – $128 Million

Australia Rich Woman - Melanie Perkins

In the 17th spot is Canva’s queen, Melanie Perkins who’s fortune is at $128 million. Her idea for an easy graphic design tool was conceived while she was studying at the age of 19. Now, the company is thriving and will be expanding in India soon.

 

Erica Baxter – $79 Million

Australia Rich Woman - Erica Baxter Packer Seal

The singer and former model Erica Baxter landed the 30th spot in the list with a fortune of $79 million.

 

Kayla Itsines, Fitness Guru – $63 Million

Australia Rich Woman - Kayla Itsines

Coming in at no. 40 is the ever-active fitness guru, Kayla Itsines with a ka-ching wealth of $63 million. She and her partner Tobi Pearce are the only South Australians who made it as newbies in the list.

 

Miranda Kerr, KORA Organics – $44 Million

Australia Rich Woman - Miranda Kerr

The former Victoria’s Secret model and the founder of KORA Organics made it to no. 62 and a debutant in the list. Her success is due to a combination of her modelling and organic skin care range.

 

Emily Skye, Fitness Guru – $32 Million

Australia Rich Woman - Emily Skye

Global fitness guru and another debutant in the list is Emily Skye who landed at no. 83. The former model and Gold Coast’s personal trainer made noise about her brand in 2011 via blogging where she started sharing workout tips and results from fitness camps. She also sells her fitness programs via apps and video tutorials.
