It’s been rife in the rumour mill for several years, and now, Hillary Clinton has put an end to the speculation announcing that she will run in the 2016 presidential election. It’s the second time she has sought out the presidency – and if victorious, she would burn her name in the record books as the first female president in US history.

After losing a bruising Democratic nominating battle with now US president Barack Obama in 2008, Hillary has now released a two minute video (below) kickstarting her own campaign with the message…

“Everyday Americans need a champion – I want to be that champion.”

Mrs Clinton acknowledged that the socio-economic status in America is still very much unbalanced, saying, “Americans have fought their way back from tough economic times, but the deck is still stacked in favour of those at the top.” Hillary will hit the road to connect with everyday Americans to garner support for her 2016 campaign and is expected to begin the election trail soon in Iowa. Her campaign will obviously highlight the historic strength of her move to become the first female US president, while emphasising  her plans to address economic inequality.

Critics say one of her most difficult challenges will be resonating with the ‘everyday’ American, saying she has become out of touch after her time as the wife of former President Bill Clinton, a secretary of state and US senator.

Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, announced in a staff memo that the goal of the campaign was to touch passion points with “everyday Americans”, saying, “We are humble: we take nothing for granted, we are never afraid to lose, we always out-compete and fight for every vote we can win. Mook has also named the presidential campaign –  “We Are Hillary for America”.

  1. A typically female candidatacy ,cover all the blemishes with pancake makeup then put on an 18 hour girdle to hold in all the wobbley bits and then cover the lot with an expensive gown to proclaim humility and concern for the downtrodden by those rich people, like her and her husband on the Government payroll.Hippocracy….no…but believable by all those can relate to the subterfuge on a daily basis because they want a woman for President because she is a woman, sympathetic delusion.
