The former Bachelor villain made the outlandish claim during a campfire discussion, inciting a no-holds spray from her fellow contestants in the South African jungle.

“You go in any room full of ten women, 70 per cent of them will have breast implants,” opined Laurina who has openly talked about her surgery secrets.

But when questioned about where she got the statistics from, all Laurina could offer up in support was, “All the women I hang out with”.

Undeterred by the heated debated she’d now incited, she continued: “Out of what we have here… Bonnie had breast implants.

“I’ve got them,” she added. “Jo Beth’s got them.”

But before she had a chance to continue, arch-rival Jo Beth Taylor fired back: “Excuse me, speak for yourself.”

It was also pointed out that Laurina shouldn’t make claims about Bonnie Lythgoe as she’s been evicted and isn’t around to defend herself.

Meanwhile, Laurina dug her heels in and said: “From my perception, speaking from experience, that’s what I could see. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Most women have got them these days.”

Losing patience fast, Australian Idol star Anthony Callea told her simply: “You can’t say that 70 per cent of women have breast implants.”

Anthony, 33, later told his teammates that Laurina’s remarks were “damaging to the women of Australia”.

Later, in the Tok Tokkie diary room, Jo Beth, 44, said: “I’m pretty sure that the group Laurina hangs out with might be tending towards, y’know, make up, and the whole glamour thing.

“And so therefore maybe 70% of her friends do it, I don’t know. But I don’t like the fact that she spoke on behalf of all women and certainly ex-camp mates and myself.”

Reflecting on the dispute, Laurina reckoned the camp over-reacted to her views and said she was just trying for little shock value.

She told the diary room: “I will say something for a bit of shock value to bring down those walls.

“Every time I do in here, everybody gets out their wooden hammer and builds their walls higher. Don’t come in here. Don’t discuss anything controversial while the cameras are on around me.”
