She may have lost the love of her life in recent days, but a heartbroken Kylie Minogue at least has something to smile about now.
Just days after news broke that she’d dumped cheating finance Joshua Sasse, Kylie, 48, learned that she’d won her long-running legal battle with reality TV star Kylie Jenner over her name.
Kylie, 19, who appears on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, along with Kim, and other sisters Khloe, Kendall, and Kourtney, applied to trademark the name Kylie in the US in April 2014.
But a huge row broke out with our Kylie’s legal representatives firing off a long list of reasons why the trademark shouldn’t be granted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The letter is said to have described Kylie Jenner as “a secondary reality television personality” in comparison to Kylie Minogue who was a “internationally-renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast cancer activist known worldwide simply as ‘Kylie’.”
The Patent Office rejected the teen’s application.
Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner’s daughter, who wants the name for her clothing and beauty empire, has already lodged an appeal, say reports.
Meanwhile, the Mirror is also reporting that Kylie Minogue wants to return her engagement ring to her ex-fiancé.
The Australian pop princess is said to feel ‘completely betrayed’ by the British actor, 29, and has “ditched” the diamond dazzler – amid claims he grew too close to Spanish actress Marta Milans, 34.
It comes as Joshua was allegedly still married to his ex Francesca Cini, who he has a three-year-old son with, when he hit it off with Kylie on the set of TV show Galavant in 2015.
A source told the the Mirror: “She started to suspect Joshua over the festive period and they had been arguing since November.
“He was in London and so was Marta. There was a worry that they had met up and he wasn’t being truthful to her.
“Kylie has ditched her ring. She just wants to move on.”
