Looking for a gorgeous Mother’s Day out for you and the motherly figure in your life? Botanica Festival, the National Trust of Victoria’s annual celebration of the natural environment, sustainability and gardening is returning to the grounds of the stunning, heritage-listed Rippon Lea Estate this May 14th, and it might just be Melbourne’s most wholesome activity.

Promising good vibes and the opportunity for plenty of quality-time with loved ones (or self care for those flying solo) it’s more than just a day for green thumbs and nature enthusiasts, it’s the perfect slow day out that everyone can enjoy.

An open-air market

The creatively minded will love exploring the open-air market held in conjunction with Fitzroy’s famous Rose Street Market, featuring products from Melbourne’s best local artists, designers, makers and growers.

CWA scones

A variety of food trucks will be scattered throughout the grounds, providing an array of different cuisines to sample and enjoy, as well as tastings from premium alcohol-removed beverage company, Edenvale.

Roving entertainment
