As little Charlotte roars with laughter playing with her favourite toy on the couch at their country home, the doting Duchess of Cambridge snaps off two adorable new candid pictures on her own camera.
Kate then posted them online to celebrate Charlotte’s six-month milestone.
Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015, at St Mary’s Hospital in London, like her big brother Prince George, but has not been seen in public since her christening in July.
In the second shot taken at Anmer Hall in Norfolk earlier in November, the young princess is looking past the camera as if something as if something has caught her attention.
Charlotte wore a pink cashmere cardigan over a Liberty print dress with a frilly collar.
“The Duke and Duchess continue to receive warm messages about Princess Charlotte from all around the world and they hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do,” says Kensington Palace.
One report says that the Kate and William had no intention of releasing the photographs, but decided to share them as a thank you to British media for respecting the family’s privacy.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very grateful for the support they have received when it comes to their children and wanted to share these very charming pictures taken by the Duchess. It is something they intend to continue to do,” a royal aide said.
Kate is an accomplished amateur photographer and took a joint portrait of her children a few weeks after her daughter was born.
