Senior MAC artist Carol Mackie described her vision, “The specially created look makes a statement with multi-dimensional lashes. It is not contrived but about elevating the natural beauty of each model, set against a fresh, radiant skin that is the core of all looks this season.”
Radiant skin
First, massage MAC Lightful C Marine Bright Formula Softening Lotion into the skin to create a soft, supple base.
Next, mix Prep + Prime Essential Oils and Prep + Prime Fix and buff into skin using a #168 Brush.
Using the same brush, buff a small amount of Strobe Cream into the skin for a luminous glow.
Eyes
Apply Teddy Eye Kohl to the waterline, and then softly sweep Evening Grey Extra Dimension Eye Shadow across the eyelid with a #242 Brush for a luminous finish.
Apply #30 Lashes to the top and #33 Lashes to the bottom, and sweep Extended Play Lash Mascara across top and bottom lashes to achieve a soft, wispy finish.
Lips
Use the tips of your fingers to pat Velvetease Lip Pencil in Frolic onto the lips and cheeks for a soft, flushed finish.
Aveda’s creative director for David Jones designed the hair to “embrace a relaxed, nonchalant feel with beautiful movement and body”.
To create the look apply Aveda‘s Thickening Tonic to damp hair, to create volume and hold.
Next, run Phomollient Styling Foam evenly through hair, then blow dry and brush through using the Aveda Paddle Brush.
Section hair and lightly spritz Witch Hazel, comb through mid-lengths and ends.
Twist hair in wide sections and using a straightening tong, roll hair through the barrel.
Finish the look with a fine mist of Air Control Hair Spray and use the Shampure Dry Shampoo close to the roots for added texture.
