Bruce Jenner’s transition to a woman has had millions of viewers tuned in to watch as Hollywood’s most famous reality TV family share their emotional journey.

When former Olympian Bruce Jenner revealed publicly for the first time that he identifies as a woman, more than 19 million people tuned in. It was a revealing interview with America’s Today Show journalist Diane Sawyer, and set the scene for his transgender transition, which will air in an eight-episode documentary series on E! from July 26.

In the meantime, E! have aired a two-part special, Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce.
Not surprisingly, millions of viewers tuned in for what was an emotional look into how the family are transitioning. In Part 1, the Kardashian gals requested that Bruce be honest with them about his journey (no child wants to hear life changing news about their parents from a Twitter feed…). Kim acknowledged the difficulty her 65-year-old stepfather must be feeling, saying, “I think Bruce is afraid to let us down. We want to understand his struggle. We want to learn about it, relate to it in some way. I think what hurts us when we hear something is changing and happening and we don’t know about it. We want to be in the loop.”
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Kim reiterated the family’s support for Bruce, as well as their personal struggle and disheartening false media reports. When asked if there was an adjustment period, Kim replied, “I think there still is an adjustment… and family therapy. I see reports that say, ‘This one doesn’t support him’ and, ‘This one’s over here, and [Kris Jenner] feels this way,’ and it’s all really so made up.”
Kim also admitted she has just recently met Bruce as a woman, but wouldn’t reveal Bruce’s female name. “She looked beautiful,” Kim told Access Hollywood. “She was dressed up, beautiful makeup, beautiful hair.” Kim said seeing Bruce as a woman “felt really natural.”
In Part 2 of E!’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce, we see Kim giving Bruce fashion advice. Kim, while sorting through a fashion-filled clothes rack, says, “Let me just go through and tell you what I like. Red could be OK.”
But fuchsia is clearly not, telling him after spotting a fuchsia top, “I think you have to be chicer than this.”
Kim’s on-trend fashion and style advice continue, until Bruce reveals the unexpected, “Can I confess?” he asks Kim. “What?” Kim replies. “You copy my outfits?!”
Bruce cheekily responds, “No. I stole your outfit!”
