Balmoral Swim For Cancer Is back throughout The Month Of March!

Balmoral Swim For Cancer is back for 2021. So, if you’re based in Sydney or its outer suburbs throughout March get your best racer swimsuits, your sunblock and your friends’ support and get in the water to raise much needed funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute!

What’s Happening In This Year’s Balmoral Swim For Cancer

This year’s events will be run over three weekends.

14th March – Balmoral Team Challenge, 4 swimmers each swim 200 mts

21st March –Schools Challenge Relay, 3 divisions, Senior, Intermediate and Junior. 4 Swimmers each swim 200 mts 

28th March – 5km ocean swim, 2km and 1km Only 450 swimmers across the three distances.

The community based initiative sees teams help raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute, increase awareness of this important cause and importantly have fun participating in a 200m relay course!

Make up a team and challenge your friends, family,  work colleagues, competitors or suppliers in both the water and the fund raising!

Teams of four compete in two trophies

  • Challenge Charity Cup – raising money for a very worthwhile charity – the Children’s Cancer Institute. The team that raises the largest amount wins
  • Challenge Fastest Team – The winner is the team that finishes in the fastest time.

What If I Don’t Swim?

Don’t stress! If getting in the water isn’t your thing, there are plenty of ways you can support the cause, either by donating, or turning up on the day to cheer on your friends. After all, Balmoral is one of the most beautiful places to see Sydney, and you’ll be contributing to a wonderfully amazing cause while you’re there!
