It’s the event that stops the world: Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back again, this time in New York, and we can’t stop ogling at the star-studded lineup which boasts two Aussies – Shanina Shaik and Bridget Malcolm.
This year, with four VS catwalks under her belt, gorgeous Aussie beauty Shanina Shaik is back again, joining Victoria’s Secret veterans such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo, Lily Donaldson and Joan Smalls, just to name a few.
The model took to Instagram and said, “‘I’m so incredibly happy & honoured to announce that I have been chosen to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015.”
There will be 44 girls walking at the show this year.
The other Aussie that has been added to Victoria’s Secret’s lineup this year is Bridget Malcolm hailing from Perth. She’s a blonde-haired beauty that can boast over 133,000 followers on Instagram, and a body to die for.
About the casting process, Malcolm told Channel 7 Sunrise, “I’m not really nervous, for me, the hard part was the casting – you have to be in your underwear, and be confident and own it. The casting director sees 300 girls, then 80, then it dwindles down to 20 girls.”
“To prepare for the casting, I worked out twice a day for three months doing Pilates, and a daily meditation routine.”
“This is my first time walking the show, but I’ve been shooting for the brand for a couple of years so I know all the girls and they’re all so lovely.”
Newcomers Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid will also be joining the rest of the cast this year for the first time.
Last year, Taylor Swift swapped her microphone for some seriously sexy lingerie to star in the much-anticipated Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show alongside her bestie and head Angel, supermodel Karlie Kloss.
