Ask the Anti-Ageing Expert: Finding the Right Therapist For You

Kaye Scott from The Clinic with The Carousel Beauty Editor, Stephanie Darling.
Out and about with the soothsayer of all things anti-ageing, Stephanie Darling talks procedures with Kaye Scott from The Clinic.

What should you look for in a good therapist performing non-surgical, anti-ageing procedures?

With nurses and doctors performing these procedures [like injectables, Thermage and Fraxel] you should look at their professional qualifications, and also look for associations they may members of, e.g. the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia, and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, years of service and references. At The Clinic, all our nurses have extensive training in injectables as well as a wealth of experience. Word of mouth is also very valuable and most of our business now comes from that. I think if you get a really good recommendation, you are usually in a safe place. You need to feel safe and confident because it is not having a facial; it is having someone inject into your face or laser your face.
