The Queen of Pop admits that when it comes to organising her looming wedding to actor Taylor Kinney, 34, she’s letting her mother Cindy and female relatives handle everything.
She jokingly told Ryan Seacrest during a recent radio interview that if she didn’t let them be involved she thinks they’d “kill” her.
“I think if I wouldn’t let my mum do this with all of us and my family – I think if I would’ve denied the women of my life the planning of the wedding – they would probably kill me,” says the 29-year-old.
“I have all the help in the world in a way!”
Taylor popped the question on Valentine’s Day with a stunning diamond engagement ring, designed by jeweller to the stars Lorraine Schwartz.
It features a giant heart-shaped piece of ice, and a message created in the precious stones: the letters T and S separated by a heart symbol put onto the band’s base to represent Taylor loves Stefani.
At the recent Oscars, where she performed in honour of sexual abuse survivors, Lady Gaga let the whole world know how she feels about the love of her life.
“Was ruined by my abuser,” she writes in her most romantic Instagram yet. “But he loves the survivor in me. He’s stood by me all night proud and unashamedly. THAT’S a real man.”
Earlier in 2016, Lady Gaga said the couple had yet to even set a date for the wedding, but she says it’s likely to be something low-key when she does walk down the aisle.
“We are not planning anything that is worth writing about,” she promises.
