Think molten mozzarella, a hint of sweet heat, creamy creme fraiche, jammy soft-boiled egg, crispy bacon and a generous drizzle of chilli oil for good measure. Equal parts indulgent and impressive, they’re the kind of dish that looks like you’ve made a serious effort, when in reality the gratins have done most of the heavy lifting. Serve them for brunch, lunch, or whenever the craving for something deliciously over-the-top strikes.

  1. Cook Potato Utopia Mozzarella & Hot Honey Potato Gratins according to packet instructions until golden and crisp.
  2. Meanwhile, soft-boil egg to your preferred consistency and cook bacon to your desired crispiness.
  3. Arrange the cooked gratins on a serving platter.
  4. Top each gratin with a spoonful of crème fraîche and a mix of half a soft-boiled egg and bacon.
  5. Drizzle generously with chilli oil and finish with black sesame seeds and fresh chives.
