INGREDIENTS

Just grab a handful of your favourite herbs; 120ml of coconut oil and your old ice cube tray and you are ready to start!

METHOD
1 Cut your herbs into smaller proportions and mince garlic.
2 Place herbs in ice cube trays and add coconut oil.
3 Once this is done place in freezer to solidify. This should only take 10 minutes to harden.
4 Then pop out of ice cube tray and place in BPA free clip lock bags and place back in the freezer.

Cook’s Notes: These will last months in the freezer and when you are ready to use simply pop the cube into a heated fry pan or skillet.

Three main favourites to always keep prepared in the fridge are –

CHILLI, CHIVES, GARLIC & COCONUT OIL
Perfect to start your Chicken Curry Laksa or as your regular curry base.

ROSEMARY, GARLIC, CHIVES & COCONUT OIL
Perfect baked with veggies and a Sunday roast lamb with the remaining juice added to gravy.

BASIL, GARLIC & COCONUT OIL
Perfect to start a creamy carbonara or pasta dish.

Cook’s Notes: You can use ice cube containers to start any dish and add any ingredients you like such as coconut cream or curry powder for extra flavour.
