Yoghurt Bites are TikTok Trending … And This is One of the Easiest Recipes to Try

Nestled among a plethora of questionable beauty hacks, the preferred social media platform of those who like their content personal, playful, and participatory is also home to trends of the food type – including yoghurt bites. Creamy, crunchy and oh-so-satisfying, they’ve become the internet’s favourite guilt-free treat – and for good reason. This version ups your FYP cred with Goodness Kitchen Choc Bites, mixing in plant-based protein, probiotics and fibre for a wholesome snack that doesn’t skimp on indulgence. Whether you’re a non-baker, a frozen yoghurt fan or just looking for something sweet to stash in the freezer for late-night cravings, this viral TikTok recipe is as easy as it is addictive.

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ cup high protein yogurt
2 tbsp smooth nut butter – peanut butter, almond, cashew or pistachio butter
2 tbsp maple syrup 
1 ½ cups mixed selection of Goodness Kitchen Choc Bites (strawberry, cherry blueberry)
2 tbsp pistachios or almonds chopped (or choice of your nut)

Topping:

35g dark choc, melted
Extra chopped nuts
Sea salt flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix yogurt, nut butter and maple syrup together in a large mixing bowl. 

Spoon half of the mixture onto a lined baking tray that will fit in the freezer.

Use a spoon to spread the mixture out until about 1 cm thick. 

Dot Choc bites all over and sprinkle chopped nuts over the top. 

Spoon the other half of the yogurt on top and spread out to cover choc bites. 

Drizzle with melted dark chocolate, extra chopped nuts and sea salt flakes. 

Pop in the freezer for 4 hours or overnight. 

Cut or break into pieces. Best eaten when left at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. 

Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
